What you'll do

You'll be our first recruiter , owning hiring end-to-end as we scale from a small team to hundreds. You'll build the recruiting function from scratch — sourcing, process, employer brand, and the systems that let us hire exceptional people fast.

Example projects

Own full-cycle hiring for our hardest roles — sourcing, screening, and closing senior engineers against A$400–800K offers.

Build our sourcing engine and talent pipeline from zero , plus the process and tooling (ATS, scorecards, structured interviews) that keep quality high as we scale.

Shape our employer brand and candidate experience so everyone who talks to us walks away impressed.

What you'll bring

5+ years of full-cycle recruiting , ideally including technical hiring at a high-growth company.

A proven sourcing engine — you find and close exceptional people others can't reach, without relying on inbound.

The ability to get shit done end-to-end . From understanding the hiring need → sourcing → closing → improving the process.

How we think about comp

We raise the ceiling for exceptional performers , not the floor. As your impact grows, your compensation should too.

The listed range is cash + equity, with superannuation on top.

We review compensation every 6 months.

Bonuses reward past impact, and raises reflect your new level.

Our interview process

Intro call: 15 minutes to align on the role and company.

Founder interview: go deep on what you’ve built, how you think, and how you work.

Working session: show how you’d build our recruiting function and source for a hard role. No gotchas, just the craft.

Paid work trial: spend 3 days with us in Sydney working on a real problem. We cover travel and accommodation, if needed.

Offer: if it’s a strong fit, we move quickly.
