We are searching for new members for the Meijer family to deliver quality customer experience as a Food Clerk at our Acme, MI Store Location!

As a Food Clerk, you will be responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude; will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising.

• We are hiring Food Clerks in the following departments and shifts:
• Meat Department 5am-1pm & 2pm-10pm
• Deli Hot Side 8am-8pm
• Produce 5am-1pm & 1pm-9pm

ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS WELCOME; TRAINING PROVIDED

CURRENT OR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN DELI, BAKERY, FOOD SERVICE OR RESTAURANT A PLUS!

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

Build positive connections with customers and teammates

Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need

Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays

Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery

Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

Every shift, your work helps keep our store running smoothly and our customers coming back.
