Description

At Bloom Endodontics, we are dedicated to providing our patients with the highest quality of care. Our close-knit team works collaboratively to manage a steady flow of patients, ensuring each individual receives personalized attention. As a Front Office Assistant with Dental Assistant cross-training responsibilities, you will play a vital role in shaping the patient experience from the moment a patient walks through our doors. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into both the administrative and clinical sides of the dental profession.

Every interaction matters in our practice, and we are seeking experienced dental professionals who are willing to learn and grow with us, whether experienced from the front desk or chairside, to join our committed and dynamic team.

Responsibilities

Front Office:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally, setting the tone for an exceptional patient experience.
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow.
  • Check patients in and out, verify insurance, and collect payments.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with updating medical history forms.
  • Document patient information accurately in chart notes and software systems.
  • Support daily office operations to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.

Clinical Cross-Training:

  • Assist the doctor during a variety of endodontic procedures as needed.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to strict protocols.
  • Take X-rays and digital scans as needed.
  • Ensure patients feel welcome, comfortable, and informed throughout their treatment.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of front desk or dental assisting experience required.
  • X-ray certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with computer-based tasks and dental software.
  • Friendly, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
