• Job Summary :
• As a FSQA Tech you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
• •Performing physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems.
• •Documenting and calculating results accurately.
• •Taking corrective action when necessary, such as alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes, identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products, and reporting results to management.
• •Handling additional assignments as requested.

• Working Conditions
• •Environment: Normal for a food manufacturing setting.
• •Physical Requirements: Involves lifting materials and products up to 75 pounds.
• •Safety Equipment: Use of steel-toed work boots, hardhats, safety glasses (where required), hairnets, beard nets (if applicable), and smocks is required.
• •Restrictions: Cell phones and jewelry are not permitted on the factory floor.

• Requirements :
• Education : High school diploma or GED.
• Experience : Minimum of 1 year experience in the food manufacturing industry OR related Quality Assurance type experience.
• Communication Skills : Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Special Skills :
• •Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork.
• •Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
• •Good problem identification and problem-solving skills.
• •Math and organizational skills.
• •Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
• •Must function well under stress.
• •Must have flexibility to work where and when needed.
• Physical Requirements :
• •Must be willing and able to lift up to 75 lbs
• •Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day
• •Must work in cold/hot temperatures typically ranging from 30-90 degrees Fahrenheit
• •Must be able to work in wet environment
• •Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing and pulling
• •Must be able to reach high and low levels frequently
• •Ability to climb step ladders and or stairs
• •Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
• •Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification
