Job Summary

IVX Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our outpatient infusion team. Located in Skillman, New Jersey, near Princeton, this outpatient infusion center serves patients throughout the Central New Jersey region. In this role, you'll provide direct patient care for adults and pediatric patients receiving specialty infusion and injection therapies. You'll perform patient assessments, oversee treatments, educate patients and families, and collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.You will also serve as a clinical leader within the infusion center, supporting patient safety, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence while helping redefine the infusion care experience.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care and clinical oversight for infusion and injection therapies.

Conduct patient assessments, medication reconciliation, and treatment monitoring.

Document care using SOAP notes and maintain accurate EHR documentation.

Perform medication calculations, including weight-based dosing (mg/kg).

Monitor patients during treatment and respond to infusion reactions, including anaphylaxis.

Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and disease management.

Collaborate with referring providers and interdisciplinary care teams.

Review and sign nursing documentation for accuracy and compliance.

Ensure accurate charge capture and treatment documentation.

Support HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Assist with inventory management, treatment planning, and clinic operations.

Support nursing staff through training and mentoring.

Provide coverage across multiple infusion centers within the assigned market as needed.

Required Qualifications

Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing.

Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license.

Active and unrestricted RN license, if required by state regulations.

AANP or ANCC board certification.

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification required.

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Ability to provide care to both adult and pediatric patients.

Experience with infusion therapy, IV access, medication administration, and patient monitoring.

Strong clinical assessment, communication, and emergency response skills.

Proficiency with EHR systems and knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

PALS certification.

Experience in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar healthcare setting.

Experience administering specialty biologics and infusion medications.

Pay is based on factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and is benchmarked against similar organizations in our size and industry. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the posted range, as compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. In addition to cash pay, full-time regular employees are eligible for 401(k), health benefits, and other company-provided benefits.

Central Jersey Area Pay Range

$57.73 — $65.06 USD
