HiWox is building a personalised healthcare and wellness intelligence ecosystem across 9 wellness dimensions, combining healthcare science, data, technology, devices and expert consultation.

We are building a Healthcare Operating System that collects and structures health and lifestyle data, processes it through explainable rule-based intelligence, and generates personalised recommendations, programs, rituals and measurable outcomes.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Full-Stack App Developer to build and take ownership of HiWox's mobile and web application ecosystem.

You will work across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, integrations and cloud infrastructure while collaborating with healthcare, data science, product and technology teams.

This is an equity-only founding opportunity for someone who wants meaningful technical ownership in building a HealthTech platform from an early stage.

Key Responsibilities1. Mobile & Web Application

Build and maintain HiWox mobile and web applications.

Develop onboarding, assessments, data collection, consultation, recommendation and progress-tracking journeys.

Build responsive, scalable and user-friendly interfaces.

Develop reusable components and maintain a consistent design system.

2. Backend & APIs

Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs.

Build databases and data structures for healthcare and wellness information.

Implement authentication, authorisation and role-based access.

Build APIs connecting the application with internal intelligence systems and external services.

3. Healthcare Data Integration

Structure data across HiWox's 9 wellness dimensions.

Integrate data from smartphones, apps, wearables, rings, sensors, healthcare devices and clinical tests.

Support longitudinal health and wellness data tracking.

Build reliable data synchronisation and validation workflows.

4. Intelligence Engine Integration

Integrate HiWox's rule-based intelligence engine with the product.

Implement workflows for wellness scores, assessments, recommendations, rituals, reminders and personalised programs.

Present intelligence outputs in a clear and explainable manner.

Support future AI and machine-learning integrations.

5. Dashboards

Develop dashboards for users, consultants, HiWox Captains, partners and internal teams.

Implement domain-wise scores, progress tracking, compliance, insights and biometric data visualisation.

Build interfaces for consultant inputs, follow-ups and program management.

6. Third-Party Integrations

Integrate healthcare devices, wearables, APIs, payment systems, communication platforms and other third-party services.

Build robust error handling and data synchronisation.

Support future connected-health and HealthTech integrations.

7. Security & Privacy

Implement appropriate security controls for healthcare and personal data.

Follow secure authentication, authorisation and data-access practices.

Build with privacy, scalability, reliability and maintainability in mind.

8. Testing & Deployment

Write clean, modular and maintainable code.

Perform unit, integration and application testing.

Debug and resolve production issues.

Manage deployments, monitoring and performance optimisation.

Maintain technical documentation.

9. Product Collaboration

Work closely with the Product Owner, Healthcare Scientists, Data Scientists, UI/UX team and Wellness Consultants.

Convert healthcare and product requirements into technical solutions.

Participate in architecture and technology decisions.

Take ownership of technical execution and delivery.

10. Future Technology & R&D

Support AI, automation, analytics and conversational interfaces.

Explore emerging wearable, connected-health and HealthTech technologies.

Contribute to proprietary technology, architecture and potential IP development.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.

Strong experience in full-stack application development.

Strong understanding of frontend, backend, APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure.

Experience with mobile app development is preferred.

Experience with React Native, React, Node.js, Python, Java/Kotlin or equivalent technologies is an advantage.

Experience integrating third-party APIs, devices or wearables is preferred.

Understanding of application security and healthcare/data privacy is an advantage.

Strong system-design and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical decisions.

HealthTech, healthcare, wellness or other data-intensive product experience is an advantage.

Engagement

Equity-only founding position.

Part-time contribution: approximately 20–25 hours/week.

Remote/hybrid engagement.

No fixed salary at the current stage.

Fixed compensation will be introduced after funding and revenue stabilisation.

Equity will be based on expertise, contribution, responsibility, commitment and long-term ownership.

Core founding members will follow a 5-year vesting structure.

Key Outcome

Build and own the technology foundation of HiWox — from mobile and web applications to backend infrastructure, healthcare data integration, dashboards and intelligence-engine integration — enabling HiWox to operate as a scalable Healthcare Operating System.
