Full Stack Engineering Lead-Vice President

The Full Stack Engineering Lead (C13) is a senior technical leadership role responsible for the architecture, design, and end-to-end development of critical, high-performance enterprise applications. This role requires an experienced engineering leader who can bridge the gap between modern, responsive front-end user interfaces and robust, scalable back-end distributed microservices.

As a C13 Technical Lead, you will drive technical excellence across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), mentor engineering teams, establish coding and architectural standards, and implement automated CI/CD deployment pipelines within a fast-paced, Agile delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership & Solution Architecture

Architectural Strategy: Design resilient, scalable, and secure full-stack enterprise solutions aligning with modern microservices architectures and cloud-native patterns.

Technical Governance: Drive code quality, code reviews, design patterns, and engineering best practices across front-end and back-end workstreams.

Framework Modernization: Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to modernize existing legacy systems and accelerate digital transformation.

2. Full Stack Application Engineering

Front-End Development: Lead UI/UX implementation using modern web technologies ( Angular 14+ / React 18+ , TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, State Management like NgRx/Redux, Webpack/Vite).

Back-End & Microservices: Develop high-throughput, low-latency RESTful APIs and distributed services using Core Java (Java 17/21), Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, Spring Data JPA) .

Database Architecture: Design relational database schemas, write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and packages ( Oracle DB, PL/SQL ), and perform database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.

3. CI/CD & DevOps Automation

Pipeline Delivery: Design and implement robust automated Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment ( CI/CD ) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Tekton, Harness, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI .

Containerization & Orchestration: Package and deploy applications using Docker and deploy to container platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift .

Quality & Security Automation: Integrate static code analysis ( SonarQube ), open-source scanning, dynamic security testing, and automated artifact publishing ( Artifactory / Nexus ) directly into CI/CD gates.

4. Agile Delivery & Team Mentorship

Agile Leadership: Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and QA engineers to define technical user stories, estimate delivery velocity, and manage sprint backlogs.

Team Development: Provide hands-on mentorship, technical guidance, and career coaching to mid-level and junior engineers.

Production Support & Operational Resilience: Drive incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), observability (using tools like Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or Loki), and maintain high system uptime and disaster recovery readiness.

Technical Skills & Competencies

Front-End

• •Strong expertise in Angular (v12+) or React.js (v16+)
• •Advanced TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, SCSS/CSS3
• •State management libraries ( NgRx, RxJS, Redux, Zustand )
• •UI Component Libraries & Responsive Design (Material UI, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS)

Back-End

• •Deep hands-on experience with Java (Java 11/17/21) and Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security)
• •RESTful API architecture and design (OpenAPI/Swagger specs)
• •Event-driven messaging / asynchronous processing (Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, or RabbitMQ)

Database

• •Proficient in Oracle Database 19c+ & PL/SQL (Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, Functions)
• •ORM frameworks ( Hibernate, Spring Data JPA, MyBatis )
• •SQL execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, and performance tuning

DevOps & CI/CD

• •Hands-on CI/CD pipeline authoring ( Jenkins, Tekton, Harness, GitHub Actions )
• •Build & dependency tools ( Maven, Gradle, npm, yarn )
• •Containerization & orchestration ( Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift )
• •Version control: Git / GitHub / Bitbucket (branching strategies, PR workflows)

Testing & Quality

• •Automated unit and integration testing ( JUnit 5, Mockito, Testcontainers )
• •Front-end testing frameworks ( Jest, Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, Playwright )
• •Code quality gates ( SonarQube, Checkmarx, Snyk )

Experience & Leadership Profile

Total Experience: 10+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years in a Technical Lead or Senior Full Stack Engineer capacity.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Financial Services / Enterprise Experience: Prior experience in banking, financial services, wealth management, or highly regulated enterprise environments is strongly preferred.

Problem Solving & Communication: Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
