Job Description

The Full Stack Software Engineer designs, develops, and operates cloud-based web applications, APIs, and services on GCP that power our Key Opinion Leader (KOL) / influencer marketing platform across the end-to-end campaign lifecycle. The role supports the Social Digital Products space.

Key Responsibilities

• •Build and ship full-stack features end-to-end, from the Next.js UI through FastAPI microservices to Cloud Spanner / BigQuery data stores.
• •Develop and maintain the Next.js (App Router) front-end (TypeScript, React 18+, Tailwind CSS) following the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) pattern, with clear separation between server and client components.
• •Develop and operate Python 3.11 / FastAPI microservices using the service–repository pattern, Pydantic v2 schemas, SQLAlchemy 2.0+, and dependency injection, exposing REST and GraphQL APIs.
• •Integrate GenAI / LLM capabilities into the platform — using Vertex AI (Gemini), OpenAI / Anthropic, and LangChain / LangGraph via P&G's governed GenAI gateway.
• •Build and operate GCP services (Cloud Run, Cloud Workflows, Cloud Build, Pub/Sub, Secret Manager, Cloud Logging) and contribute to the evolution of the platform toward reusable, self-serve patterns.
• •Integrate with BigQuery and Cloud Spanner for transactional and analytical workloads, applying parameterized queries, partitioning, and cost-aware design; support embedded Looker / LookML reporting.
• •Maintain and improve integrations with social platforms, third-party influencer marketplaces, web-scraping / content-extraction pipelines, and internal P&G systems.
• •Develop and extend Terraform modules for GCP project and landing-zone resources, contributing to self-serve provisioning and policy guardrails.
• •Embed quality and security into CI/CD: unit and integration tests (pytest, jest), E2E tests (Playwright), SonarQube, Snyk, and gitleaks.
• •Partner with product managers, business analysts, architects, and QA to ensure technical solutions are fit for use and aligned with architecture blueprints.
• •Identify, design, and implement performance, reliability, and cost-reduction opportunities, and uphold coding standards and best practices so services and components stay efficient, secure, and reusable.

Job Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• •Experience in full-stack software engineering, web application development, or a related field.
• •Proficiency with modern web architectures and microservice design patterns.
• •Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React 18+, and Next.js App Router (server/client components, route handlers, BFF pattern).
• •Hands-on experience with Python 3.11+ and FastAPI, including Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, and async patterns.
• •Working knowledge of GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud Workflows, BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, IAM, Secret Manager) and Terraform.
• •Experience integrating (or a strong interest in integrating) GenAI / LLM services — e.g. Vertex AI / Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain / LangGraph — into production applications.
• •Working knowledge of Docker and containerized local development.
• •Strong TypeScript, Python, and SQL skills.
• •Experience writing automated tests (pytest, jest, Playwright) and integrating quality and security tooling (SonarQube, Snyk, gitleaks) into CI/CD pipelines.
• •Familiarity with REST and GraphQL API design, OpenAPI/Swagger, and conventional commits.
• •Awareness of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices (no hardcoded secrets, input validation, parameterized queries, HTTPS-only).
• •Nice to have: embedded analytics with Looker / LookML; experience with Redux Toolkit and enterprise data grids.
