About the Opportunity

Gallery Attendant | $17/hour, overtime eligible

David Zwirner is seeking reliable and energetic Gallery Attendants for an upcoming exhibition at our Chelsea locations. As a Gallery Attendant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a welcoming and informative experience for visitors. The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic and personable with a genuine interest in enhancing the visitor experience, and be comfortable standing for long periods of time.

What you’ll do:

Warmly welcoming visitors to the gallery.

Providing information about the current exhibition and the artist.

Answering questions and engaging in conversation about the artwork on display.

Maintaining awareness of visitors to ensure a controlled and respectful environment.

Safeguarding the artwork to prevent any unauthorized handling or damage to the exhibition.

Identifying existing and potential clients and notifying appropriate members of the Sales team.

This position is full-time and temporary, running from October 27th to December 12th, 2026. Position hours are Tuesday - Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM. Candidates will occasionally need to work additional hours.
