GARDENER SUPERVISOR

Summary

You will serve as a GARDERNER SUPERVISOR in the FACILITIES DEPARTMENT of NAVAL WAR COLLEGE.

Duties

• •You will provide daily oversight of all grounds maintenance and repair for an approximately 125-acre campus, including memorials and parks.
• •You will be responsible for all landscaping equipment and vehicles utilized by the grounds maintenance and snow operations staff.
• •You will develop and execute the schedule of recurring custodial service requests as well as emergent tasking to improve overall campus sanitation and beautification.
• •You will provide daily oversight of event support setups, including coordinating with requesters, confirming layouts, and directing staff in staging and breakdown.

Qualifications

The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Utilizing automated maintenance systems to enter and extract data; 2) Using hand and power tools for groundskeeping, operating utility vehicles, and operating custodial equipment; and 3) Demonstrating knowledge of basic sanitation and safety procedures.
