General Warehouse - 1st Shift

1st shift 7:00am ~ 3:30pm* Mon-Fri

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

· Ensures box lines are supplied to maintain steady flow of productivity.

· Ensures damaged product is taken to appropriate area for processing.

· Ensures labels are placed properly on merchandise in order to be scanned properly

· Repairs or discards damaged containers.

· Assists in keeping trash lines free from jams including overhead jams.

· Washes dirty containers.

· Sorts, pushes and delivers used boxes and containers as needed.

· Stacks totes on pallets.

· Fills in and assists with stocking or order filling duties as time permits.

· Completes the daily PIT checklist to ensure equipment is working properly and reports any defects to management and/or maintenance.

· Operates PIT equipment in a safe manner.

· Follows set safety procedures and guidelines.

· Maintains an organized work area and promotes a safe working environment within the Repack department.

· All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

Education: High School diploma (preferred)

Experience : Four to six months Retail Distribution Center or Warehouse Environment experience preferred.

Physical Requirements : Able to perform essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. These tasks require the ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 80 pounds. The Team Member should have adequate fitness level to meet the demands of frequent lifting, walking, standing, moderate climbing of stairs, occasional sitting, stooping and kneeling with or without reasonable accommodation. May be required to operate P.I.T. equipment. Team Member will be required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per Distribution Center requirements.

Working Conditions: Team Member will work in a non-climate-controlled Distribution or Warehouse atmosphere, in which outside weather conditions greatly affect the building’s temperature although fans and heaters are used. Team Member may also be exposed to or work in a restricted space, fumes and airborne particles as regulated by OSHA.

Availability : Team Member will perform shift work and must be willing to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays. *Shift end time varies based off production and store needs.
