About the role:

Reporting to the Senior Geologist, the Geologist or Geologist-in-Training supports coal quality and production geology activities at Greenhills Operations. Working closely with Engineering, Mine Operations, and Processing teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the effective recovery, quality control, and blending of coal released during the mining process. This role provides exposure to both field and office-based geological activities and offers development opportunities within the Engineering and Geology teams.

To be successful, we are looking for a safety-focused individual with strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, time management, and communication skills. The successful candidate enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, takes ownership of their work, and maintains a positive and adaptable approach while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
