What You'll Be Doing

• •Collaborate with CCA team and operations to develop drilling programs and manage drill projects including planning, cost estimation, supervision, and reporting
• •Assist with reserve and resource calculations, pit shell evaluations, and volume estimations for mining operations
• •Create technical maps, drawings, and documentation using ArcGIS and other tools for mine planning and reporting
• •Managing drill campaigns and data through various stages of project development
• •Participate in geological fieldwork, data collection, and geological assessments
• •Support health and safety initiatives across field and office activities

What Are We Looking For

• •3rd year, 4th year, or masters level student working toward a degree in Geology or Engineering Geology
• •Experience in mining and with AutoCAD or mining software is considered an asset
• •Experience around drill rigs and/or core logging is considered an asset
• •Strong observation, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• •Effective communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• •Must have a valid driver’s license and personal transportation
