GIS Analyst – Remote Sensing and Site Investigation

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a GIS Analyst – Remote Sensing and Site Investigation based in Canada.

As a GIS Analyst, you will support remote sensing and site investigation activities for major infrastructure projects, with a focus on turning geospatial data into actionable technical insights. You will work with LiDAR data, point clouds, drone imagery, terrain models, and other remote sensing products to evaluate site conditions and data quality. Your expertise will help establish robust analysis methods, acceptance criteria, and quality controls for geospatial deliverables. Working closely with GIS, engineering, design, environmental, field, and data-processing teams, you will identify discrepancies and provide clear technical recommendations. You will also create 2D and 3D geospatial products that contribute directly to project planning and technical decisions. The role offers an opportunity to apply advanced spatial analysis skills in a multidisciplinary environment while contributing to complex infrastructure and site investigation initiatives. Bilingual French and English capabilities are particularly valuable for collaboration across Quebec and Canada.
