The Position
We are looking for a Global SAP Application Lifecycle Management Process Owner to shape and govern how SAP changes move from requirement through deployment across our enterprise landscape.
You will own the global Requirements-to-Deploy process, ensuring SAP changes are delivered efficiently, reliably, and in compliance with applicable quality and financial-control requirements. A key priority will be shaping the transition from SAP Solution Manager and ChaRM toward SAP Cloud ALM and an integrated modern agentic toolchain.
This role owns process governance and strategy. Operational execution remains with the relevant delivery and platform teams.
What You Will Do
- Own and continuously improve the global SAP Requirements-to-Deploy process, including change, release, testing, defect, and system-documentation practices.
- Define global process standards, roles, decision rights, controls, and performance measures.
- Maintain the process-documentation framework, including SOPs, work instructions, and user guidance.
- Partner with Quality, validation, and control owners to ensure processes are appropriately designed, documented, validated, and audit-ready.
- Translate applicable GxP, computerized-system validation or assurance, and ICFR requirements into practical, risk-based processes and controls.
- Define the target SAP ALM operating model and roadmap, including the transition of appropriate capabilities from Solution Manager and ChaRM to SAP Cloud ALM and integrated tools.
- Lead process improvements that increase adoption and reduce risk, rework, and delivery lead time.
- Define the training and enablement approach and partner with subject-matter experts to support global adoption.
- Collaborate with business, IT, Quality, Finance Controls, and external partners to align priorities and resolve process issues.
What You Bring
Essential
- Significant experience in SAP ALM, change and release management, or a related enterprise technology discipline.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Solution Manager – ChaRM, document management and test management modules
- Experience defining or governing end-to-end processes across multiple teams, systems, or regions.
- Experience working in a regulated environment.
- Ability to translate quality and control requirements into practical, efficient processes.
- Experience creating controlled documentation, such as SOPs and work instructions.
- Strong stakeholder leadership, influencing, and English communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred
- Experience with SAP Cloud ALM strategy, implementation, or adoption.
- Knowledge of computerized-system validation or assurance and ICFR controls.
- Knowledge of SAP transport-related processes, including CTS/CTS+, retrofit, and multi-track landscapes.
- Experience supporting audits and leading global process adoption
- Experience applying AI-enabled capabilities to SAP ALM, testing, documentation, process optimization, or IT service delivery.
