Global Process Owner - Treasury (Senior Manager/ Associate Director)

The Global Process Owner (GPO) for Treasury is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining, designing, and optimizing global operational treasury processes across the organization. This position ensures process standardization, drives operational efficiency, and implements robust governance to monitor and enforce process adherence worldwide. The GPO acts as the bridge between corporate treasury strategy, regional execution teams, and technology partners, leading high-impact global project initiatives to transform the treasury ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• •Process Definition & Standardization: Design, document, and maintain end-to-end global treasury processes (e.g., cash management, FX risk management, bank account management, liquidity forecasting, and payment execution) ensuring alignment with corporate policies.
• •Process Adherence & Governance: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and regular compliance exercises to monitor, audit, and enforce global process adherence across all regions.
• •Global Project Leadership: Lead and oversee global treasury project initiatives, including system implementations (TMS/ERP), automation efforts, and treasury integration for mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Build as well a communication bridge to GBS payment execution.
• •Continuous Improvement: Identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks; drive digital transformation, robotic process automation (RPA), and best-in-class treasury technology adoption.
• •Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with regional finance hubs, corporate treasury leaders, internal audit, and external banking partners to align priorities and manage change effectively.

Qualifications:

• •Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CTP (Certified Treasury Professional), or ACT qualification is very welcome.
• •Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in corporate treasury, financial operations, or consulting, with a strong focus on process ownership, design, and optimization.
• •Project Management: Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional global project initiatives and managing change in a complex corporate environment.
• •Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of Treasury Management Systems (e.g., SAP Treasury, Kyriba, Quantum) and ERP systems, alongside familiarity with process mapping tools.
• •Soft Skills: Good communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to support international teams across different time zones (specifically bridging Latin America/Asia with global headquarters).
• •Languages: Full professional proficiency in English is required. For the position in Mexico, Spanish & English is required.
• •Shift schedule: Amenable to follow EMEA working hours with flexibility to accommodate US meetings
