As a member of the Global Supply Chain Finance team, the role will be responsible for providing critical support and leadership in all Manufacturing & Logistics operations across all our geographies.

The individual would be a key player in the Supply Chain Finance team and generally would be the “go-to” person for all manufacturing and logistics finance aspects from a global perspective, focus being around, driving performance, coordinating and leading the monthly / quarterly / annual reporting & Supply FP&A process, improving working capital, driving standardization and best practices across the group, evaluating project business cases, and aiding strategic decision-making.

This is a high visibility role reporting directly into the Global Head of Supply Chain Finance and working closely with Regional Supply / Supply Finance Leaders and the Chief Supply Chain Officer for pladis.

That role is part of the Finance Leadership team for pladis and has a Supply Chain Finance Manager reporting into it.

Lead Monthly / Quarterly & Annual Reporting & Planning process; Aid Annual Supply Strategic Planning Process

• •Leading Global Supply Chain budgeting process, covering financial (costs, working capital) as well as non-financial target setting. Analysis of submissions to understand assumptions, risks / opportunities, and summarizing for key business partners
• •Leading in-year forecasting processes, focusing on financial elements to ensure full-year targets are met
• •Co-ordinating timelines with regions for all regular planning processes
• •Assist in quarterly Transfer Pricing checks and reviews
• •Lead and come up with Digitalization initiatives to streamline, simplify and have impactful reporting processes
• •Support annual Strategic Supply planning process

Performance management

• •Lead quarterly review process with regions, drive discussions and actions to improve performance
• •Review monthly and quarterly reporting packs, ensuring data integrity and analyzing / discussing with regions for key insights, identification of risks & opportunities. Ensure pladis Supply Chain KPI’s are consistently implemented
• •Benchmarking / best practice sharing: Perform benchmarking studies across sites, work with the Regions to understand various Productivity initiatives being undertaken with the idea of sharing best practices and drive overall performance improvement both in terms of P&L & Working Capital.
• •Define powerful dashboards

Project Management

Global finance lead on all major supply chain projects; coordinating inputs with regional teams, ensuring robust financial accuracy, and sharing insights on project economics

Capital Investment Evaluation and Capital allocation

• •Evaluation of capital investments submitted for approval – accuracy in all financial elements and understanding main drivers of benefits
• •Support preparation of bi-monthly capital board presentation, validating all financial elements while also ensuring all submissions meet standards
• •Aid in capital allocation discussions / decisions for various management reviews

Product Sourcing

Assist the sourcing team by leading financial evaluation of all product sourcing decisions, working with regions to understand landed costs and with key business partners to ensure effective decisions are made around optimization of the manufacturing/sourcing footprint.

Talent / team development

• •Support development of the Global Supply Chain Finance Manager who reports into this role
• Build Supply Chain financial and non-financial understanding across the global network of both finance and supply chain contacts
