The role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Graduate Trading Operations Analyst to join our Berlin team. You will help run and improve the operational processes that support our trading platform and the instruments available to customers. The role covers a broad range of topics - from investigating operational issues and supporting complex cases to understanding how processes, systems and data fit together. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning how things work and finding better ways of working. We are looking for curiosity, sound judgment and the motivation to develop.
What you'll do
Execute and monitor essential daily and event-driven Trading Operations processes.
Help manage the instruments available to customers in collaboration with Trading and Corporate Actions.
Investigate operational discrepancies and identify their underlying causes.
Support the development of reliable, efficient and scalable operational processes.
Use data and appropriate digital tools to analyse issues and improve recurring activities.
Collaborate with Product, Customer Service, Trading and Development teams to resolve problems.
Create and maintain clear procedures and operational controls.
Develop the knowledge required to support complex instrument and trading-related queries.
Contribute to team projects and wider operational improvements.
What you need to have
Currently completing or recently completed an undergraduate degree. We welcome applicants from a broad range of academic backgrounds.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Curiosity about how trading processes, systems and data work together.
The ability and motivation to learn unfamiliar concepts and tools quickly.
Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive mindset and willingness to take responsibility.
The ability to work effectively both independently and with others.
Nice to have
Experience with Trading and Instruments management
Knowledge of the German language (fluent or C1)
Knowledge of SQL or Python
