We’re a leading business management solution with a core purpose: helping more businesses in Australia and New Zealand start, survive and succeed.
At MYOB, we believe what’s good for one business is good for all business—and for all of us. Whether you support them, work for them, or dream of building your own, when businesses run smoothly, everybody feels it. Owners, employees, customers, suppliers—even families. That’s why we’re here: to give every person in business the tools they need to focus on what really matters and do Big Things—whatever big looks like for them.
And for you? Joining MYOB means being part of that impact. It means using your skills to help businesses thrive, shaping the future of work, and growing alongside the people and communities we support. Because while we’re the business of software, we’re really in the business of people. And that makes MYOB Everyone’s Business.
About the Role
Accounting practices help keep hundreds of thousands of businesses across Australia and New Zealand running. MYOB's Practice portfolio sits at the centre of that work, powering everything from bank reconciliations, financial reporting and workpapers to tax, client management and the workflows that hold a firm together.
At the heart of it all is a critical responsibility: ensuring financial records are accurate, reconciled and trusted. Every report, lodgement, loan application and advisory conversation depends on that foundation. As AI reshapes the profession, we have an opportunity to redefine how firms manage this work and unlock new levels of efficiency, accuracy and insight.
As Group Product Manager , you'll lead the product and commercial strategy for this portfolio while driving two significant transformations. The first is reimagining the customer experience through AI-powered workflows that help practices maintain accurate, real-time financial records. The second is embedding AI into the way we build, enabling our teams to deliver better products, faster and more effectively.
This isn't about AI simply automating manual tasks. It's about creating intelligent systems that help practices stay continuously up to date and building an open platform where agents, not just people, can actively participate in getting work done.
Reporting to the Head of Product, Practice , you'll lead a team of Product Managers and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of one of MYOB's most strategic product portfolios.
Day to day, you'll:
Lead the product, customer and commercial strategy across your portfolio, ensuring investment is focused on solving meaningful customer problems and delivering measurable business outcomes.
Translate strategy into a clear roadmap, partnering closely with Design, Technology, Data and Product Marketing to deliver customer and commercial value.
Drive customer-led discovery, using research, experimentation and data to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses and prioritise effectively.
Lead and develop a team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, curiosity and continuous improvement.
Champion the thoughtful adoption of AI, both in customer-facing experiences and in how product teams discover, build and deliver products.
Influence and align senior stakeholders across the business while managing portfolio investment, product performance and long-term growth opportunities.
The skills you'll need
Proven experience leading product teams and product portfolios within a B2B SaaS environment, with accountability for customer and commercial outcomes.
Strong product discovery and strategic thinking capabilities, with a track record of turning customer insights and data into impactful product decisions.
Experience coaching, mentoring and developing Product Managers, building high-performing teams that consistently deliver value.
Commercial acumen and confidence using customer, product and financial data to prioritise investment and influence decision-making.
Experience delivering AI-enabled products, with a practical understanding of trust, accuracy, privacy, governance and responsible AI principles.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, navigate complexity and build alignment across cross-functional teams.
Haven't ticked every box? We'd still love to hear from you. If you've built and led great product teams and are excited about creating AI-powered experiences that customers genuinely trust and rely on, we encourage you to apply.
