Growth Enablement Partner - Customs
As a Growth Enablement Partner - Customs , you will be responsible for driving commercial growth and expanding our stand-alone customs brokerage business across the Area. Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, you will identify new opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and contribute to the continued growth of our customs services portfolio.
Key responsibilities :
- Driving the growth of stand-alone customs brokerage services within the assigned market and customer segments.
- Identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities with mid-market customers.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts.
- Generating and qualifying sales leads through proactive market engagement and networking.
- Leading customer discussions to understand customs clearance, trade compliance, and cross-border logistics needs.
- Supporting RFI/RFQ processes and developing compelling commercial proposals in collaboration with Operations and Compliance teams.
- Negotiating pricing, service agreements, and commercial terms to deliver profitable business growth.
- Promoting value-added customs services, including trade compliance advisory, trade reporting, fiscal representation, duty optimization, and bonded warehousing solutions.
- Managing and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline while tracking revenue and margin performance.
- Ensuring seamless onboarding and implementation of new customers by coordinating closely with Operations, Compliance, Sales, and Transformation teams.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers by providing insights and solutions that support their international trade requirements.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a commercially driven business development professional who combines strong customer relationship skills with a solid understanding of customs brokerage and international trade.
- Experience within logistics, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or international trade services.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
- Experience developing new business opportunities and growing existing customer relationships.
- Experience working with mid-market customers is preferred.
- Strong understanding of customs brokerage services, import/export processes, and international trade flows.
- Knowledge of customs clearance procedures, trade compliance requirements, and EU customs legislation.
- Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into practical and commercially viable solutions.
- Strong negotiation, opportunity development, and pipeline management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and stakeholders.
- Strong commercial drive and results-oriented mindset.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence and build credibility with customers and stakeholders.
- Able to translate customer challenges into business opportunities and long-term partnerships.
