About Vasco
Vasco is the revenue context layer for AI agents. The product was built around one idea: confident is not the same as correct, and revenue decisions get made on confidence all the time. We structure CRM, billing, calls, and support data into a semantic layer where every metric is sourced, every definition is locked, and every answer is deterministic, then build agents that take the manual busywork off people's plates.
Our cofounders Guillaume and Seb already built and sold one startup together; today they are building the product they wished they had. Vasco's mission is to enable builders and GTM leaders to build a revenue engine that moves the business forward on data they can trust.
About the role
You are the operator's point of view inside our product team: two designers and eight engineers, strong builders, none of whom has run a revenue operation. You have. You sit with the squad every day, from shaping a problem to shipping it, and you own whether what we ship is something a RevOps team actually reaches for, gets through unaided, and gets value from. You also hold a dedicated share of each cycle's capacity for going back to improve what we've already shipped, and you decide where it goes.
You report to Seb, our CTO. The posting says GTM Product Manager because that's the seat the market recognizes; inside Vasco we call it GTM Operator in Residence, because that's what the job is.
Twelve months in, our designers and engineers make operator-grade calls without you, because you taught them the reasoning.
What you will do
Shape with us: Sit in framing and shaping sessions and say where a proposed solution breaks for a team like the one you ran, before anyone builds it.
Answer in the moment: Be the person a designer or engineer messages at 4pm about a default value, a required field, or an empty state, and answer with the reasoning so the next call gets made without you.
Hold the fitness bar: Write the pass criteria for a release, stated as what an operator must accomplish unaided, in a form the squad can run on its own.
Watch what happens next: Sit with real operators using the current build, turn what you see into evidence, and bring return-bets to the betting table with numbers attached.
Convene the outside voices: Run our co-build sessions with customers and agencies, prepare them so scarce time goes to the right questions, and bring engineers and designers in to listen.
Write it down: Maintain the operator reference the squad consults on its own, so your judgment is available without booking your time.
What we're looking for
You've run revenue operations across many companies. From a RevOps or GTM agency, or in-house at more than one company. You've seen the same struggle in a dozen different stacks and you know which version of it is actually common.
You've driven customer projects to a date. You've moved other people's work without authority over them, and delivered when the deadline was real.
You're a builder, AI-forward, with taste. You prototype rather than describe, you reach for AI tools by reflex, and you know a workflow that works from one that demos well.
You translate. You can hold a room with a designer and with a CRO in the same afternoon and both feel understood, and you've told a revenue leader something they did not want to hear.
You like being interrupted. You answer fast, you teach while you answer, and you do not batch people into a weekly slot.
You write. Your judgment survives in a document other people use when you are not there.
We don't care about years of experience, but chances are, if you fit this profile, you've got a good few. You'll have to use your skills and experience to influence cofounders and top talent designers and engineers.
What'll make you stand out
You want to become a product manager and have never had the chance. We have the product craft to teach; we do not have your operating history.
You have opinions about agents in GTM and can also explain why a team resists the right thing because of how comp is written.
You have followed up after a project ended to find out whether it actually held, and changed how you worked because of what you learned.
You'd rather build the car than the faster horse. You've felt the gap in GTM tooling firsthand, and you want to build the product you always wished you had.
Why Vasco
Small, high-caliber team, with experienced founders still building alongside you.
Early-stage pace and real ownership: the problems are unsolved, the path isn't fixed, and your judgment and capabilities shape what happens next.
AI-forward, both in how we work day to day and in what we build for customers.
Real autonomy, with room to experiment, pick up new skills, and take on projects outside your role: nobody here is boxed in.
Compensation within the top of the national market, stock options for every team member, uncapped paid time off, generous parental leave, and 100% employer-paid health benefits for you and your dependents.
Where you'll work
This position is hybrid in Montreal— three days in-person per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) at WeWork Place Ville-Marie in downtown Montreal.
Hiring Process
Discovery Call with our talent partner (30mins)
Hiring Manager Interview (45mins)
Technical Stage (Challenge + 60 to 90mins Interview)
Final Interview with our CEO (30mins)
We want you to feel informed and supported at every step. You'll always know where you stand, and we encourage you to ask us anything along the way.
A note on AI: We use AI to help with note-taking during interviews. You can opt out anytime with no impact on your candidacy, and AI plays no part in our hiring decisions. On your side, feel free to use AI the way you would in the actual work, just use it thoughtfully. We're an AI company; we know polished AI output when we see it, and what we're really after is how you think and what you can do.
Background check: The selected candidate will be required to complete a background check before starting.
We hire on the strength of what you bring, regardless of who you are. Need an accommodation at any point in the process? Tell us at [email protected] and we'll make it work.
