- Job Purpose
- Lead the psychology department, a purpose-built acute inpatient hospital, and deliver high-quality, patient-centred psychological care. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and improve mental health outcomes for adults experiencing acute episodes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and evidence-based interventions for service users with complex needs.
Oversee the psychology service, supporting the team in delivering assessments, formulations, and group interventions.
Participate in referral assessments and make autonomous clinical decisions regarding care plans.
Implement and evaluate person-centred treatment plans using structured psychometric and clinical methods.
Maintain professional and legal accountability in line with HCPC standards and organisational policies.
Contribute to a therapeutic environment by promoting meaningful daily activities and recovery-focused care.
