Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced executive to lead the Investment Solutions function in Mumbai, India. This individual will be responsible for building, leading, and managing a high-performing team that supports the Wealth Management business. The role will oversee day-to-day execution, service delivery, operational controls, risk management, regulatory compliance, and adherence to internal policies and procedures.

Investment Solutions, within Wealth Management, is responsible for delivering a broad investment platform, product capabilities, portfolio solutions, and implementation support that help Financial Advisors and clients build, manage, and monitor wealth strategies. The business brings together investment products, advisory platforms, research, portfolio management tools, and digital capabilities to support clients across a range of needs, from self-directed investing to comprehensive financial planning and ongoing portfolio management.

The successful candidate will partner closely with senior stakeholders across Investment Solutions, Due Diligence, Client Solutions, Product Management, Capital Markets, Business Development, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Technology to ensure effective execution, strong governance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• •Lead the build-out and ongoing management of the Investment Solutions function in Mumbai, including team structure, hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and succession planning.
• •Provide day-to-day oversight of the team and ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality delivery of agreed services and deliverables.
• •Serve as the primary escalation point for Investment Solutions-related issues in Mumbai and drive timely resolution in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
• •Establish, maintain, and enhance operating procedures, controls, and governance routines aligned with applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
• •Oversee execution supervisory review, reporting, and control processes, as applicable to the function’s remit.
• •Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, controls, and workflows to increase efficiency, strengthen quality, and enhance scalability.
• •Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across global teams, ensuring clear communication, transparency, and alignment on priorities.
• •Develop team capability through structured training, coaching, feedback, and career development.
• •Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture focused on accountability, quality, risk awareness, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience

• •15+ years of experience in financial services, preferably within Wealth Management.
• •Strong understanding of Wealth Management products, advisory platforms, investment solutions, and global financial markets.
• •Proven experience leading high-performing teams in a global, cross-functional environment.
• •Demonstrated ability to build and scale teams, manage change, and drive operational excellence.
• •Strong risk and control mindset, with experience operating in a regulated financial services environment.
• •Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders across regions and functions.
• •Strong analytical, critical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and attention to detail.
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• •Ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• •MBA, CFA, CAIA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred, but not required.
