JOB DESCRIPTION:
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
This position shall lead the adult and pediatric salesforce and will be responsible for driving strategy and execution excellence in the HCP promotions
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for strategic and tactical plans to achieve division’s sales and market share goals
- Develop sales forecast, determine, and allocate sales referrals/targets, identify business opportunities and recommend business strategies to management.
- Identify market opportunities based on customer/HCP needs and market trends to drive growth of Abbott’s brand portfolio
- Lead the field sales force to ensure effective implementation of sales management processes
- Identify performance gaps, take corrective actions, and coach senior sales leaders on needed leadership capabilities.
- Effectively engage cross-functional team to gain support and facilitate achievement of ethical sales operation objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor’s degree (pharmacy /dietetics/medicine/nutrition/ specialization preferred)
Experience/Background
- Exceptional sales and business management experience in multinational corporate with minimum of 12 years relevant experience (Pharmaceuticals or healthcare industry preferred)
- In-depth understanding and experience in P&L, budgeting, planning and forecasting
- Strong leadership skills. Able to set the agenda based on relevant insights, develop & take others with them to deliver strong results.
- Customer focus. Able to understand customer’s needs & insights, identify joint business opportunities & develop sustainable partnership with both internal & external customers.
- Strong desire to win, grow & deliver both business & people outcomes.
- Able to build & develop the team through training, coaching & OTJ assignment
- Good understanding of IT related sales system & solutions
- Experience in managing a brand sales portfolio
- Effective negotiation and influencing skills
