Overview

The Head of Risk is a senior management role within regulated financial services firms in the Abu Dhabi Global Market ( ADGM ). The Head of Risk is responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing oversight of the firm’s enterprise-wide risk management framework. The Head of Risk ensures that material risks are identified, assessed, monitored, and reported in line with the firm’s risk appetite and regulatory obligations under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority ( FSRA )’s GEN, PRU and MIR rulebooks,s and other applicable regulations. The Head of Risk is expected to operate independently from revenue-generating functions and to provide objective risk oversight and challenge to executive management and the board.
