Summary

About the Position: This position is located at Fort Meade, Maryland. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Duties

• •Develop methods for evaluating effectiveness of each of the clinical operations measures
• •Solve complex issues by researching, analyzing, and creating corrective action plans using data (reports, charts, graphs, statistics).
• •Identify and recommend improvements for Healthcare System processes.
• •Establish standards of performance for critical and high volume, high cost areas of health care.
• •Make recommendations to leadership on productivity, access, and quality.
• •Conduct cost-benefit and cost-effectiveness analysis.
• •Develop and implement metrics for program evaluation.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing healthcare operations and performance; utilizing healthcare automation data systems; and analyzing clinical processes and recommending improvements to leadership. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
