Heat Treat & Chrome Operator - 3rd Shift

Primary Responsibility:

Operate Plating and Heat Treat equipment. Maintain equipment and inspect parts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform plating operations in accordance with work instructions and work order specifications.

Perform stripping operations in accordance with work instructions and work order specifications.

Perform heat treat operations in accordance with work instructions and work order specifications.

Hardness test parts and document results after heat treat.

Check quench for proper percentage and adjust as needed.

Maintain and clean all equipment

Operate hoist

Follow all safety instructions and practices.

Minimum Qualifications

Basic math skills.

Ability to follow instruction.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Education/Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical requirements

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. multiple times per day.

Physically able to wear multiple pieces of PPE and work in a hot environment.

Stand for extended periods of time

Some overtime required
