- Gerhart is looking for
- Field Service Technicians with experience in industrial weighing equipment and/or mechanical background. This is your chance to work on challenging, high-impact projects and grow your career while getting rewarded for your expertise.
What You’ll Do:
Perform thorough on-site calibrations of weighing and material handling systems
Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
Ability to mechanically troubleshoot, identify, and diagnose malfunctions and repair weighing equipment
Interact in a professional manner with customers. Review and communicate your scheduled task, call status, and service reports with the customer and Team Leader
What You Bring:
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
General mechanical or electrical background
Customer-focused mindset and a self-starter attitude
Ability to work outdoors in all conditions (heat, cold, dust, and dirt)
Familiarity with industrial service tools; welding experience is a plus
Basic understanding of 120VAC/DC wiring
Strength, stamina, and willingness to bend, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs safely
Maintain valid Drivers license and safe driving record
CDL preferred
