Pay: $36 – $42/hour, based on experience · Overtime after 40 hours · Additional compensation for on-call Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (role is subject to on-call scheduling) Location: Williston, ND — rental facility

As a Field Technician at EquipmentShare, you'll diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on heavy equipment and aerial lifts — with our proprietary T3 platform pulling service data from hundreds of makes and models so you can find root cause fast and work smarter, not harder.

What You'll Do

Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer-owned equipment, exercising independent judgment

Travel to customer job sites for repair and maintenance; maintain your service vehicle in clean, professional condition

Use T3 on a laptop or tablet to create and monitor work orders, track service intervals, and order parts

Document all work performed accurately and daily

Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts

Support the training and development of junior technicians

Follow safe work practices on every job

What You Need

Your own tools applicable to the position

Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and diagnostic tools

Ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams

Strong customer service, teamwork, and communication skills

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 to operate company vehicles

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience servicing heavy equipment, aerial lifts, or diesel systems

Trade school certificate or OEM certifications

Advanced experience with hydraulic and electrical diagnostics

Working knowledge of OSHA requirements

Conditions of Employment

Must be able to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely, and lift up to 50 pounds at times

Field Technicians may be required to be clean shaven to enter worksites for customers with that requirement
