Rehearsal Planning: Create and manage the full rehearsal and production calendar.

Technical and Design Coordination: Oversee set, lighting, sound, costumes, and props, working with any technical staff, student crew, or volunteers.

Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for cast, crew, parents, and school administration regarding schedules, expectations, and production needs.

Student Supervision: Maintain a safe, supportive, and disciplined rehearsal environment and ensure students are supervised at all rehearsals and performances.

Budget and Resources: Manage the production within the approved budget.

Performances: Direct technical and dress rehearsals and oversee all performances, including backstage operations.

Other duties related to the production as assigned.

Directing Experience: Demonstrated experience directing theatre, preferably with youth or student performers.

Theatre Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of acting technique, staging, script analysis, and stagecraft.

Leadership and Organization: Ability to lead a production team, manage a production timeline, and keep multiple moving pieces on track.

Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to instruct students and communicate clearly with parents, staff, and administration.

Commitment: Availability for auditions and all required after-school, evening, and weekend rehearsals.

Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check, including criminal history, and professional references as a condition of employment.
