Qualifications for HHA – Home Health Aide:
One year of verifiable direct care experience such as a hospital, nursing home or home care agency setting
HHA training program available for those interested and not meeting our experience requirements - inquire during application process!
Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aide:
Activities of daily living
Light housekeeping
Bathing
Grooming
Toileting
Nail care
Range of motion / exercises
Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
Oral feeding
Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
Assisting with ambulation
Medication assistance
