• Summary
• Maintains environmental and infection control standards and regulatory requirements within the established policies and procedures and performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient care and non patient care areas.

• Job Duties
• •Straightens and picks up trash in restrooms, sinks, showers, toilets, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, and surfaces, and replenishes soap and paper products.

Vacuums carpets, sweeps and mops floors on a routine basis.

Dusts vents and polishes all furniture in common areas and patients rooms daily.

Cleans and polishes fire extinguishers and ice machines weekly.

Coordinates housekeeping services with other departments.

Cleans all bathrooms and toilet bowls daily.

• Minimum Qualifications
• •Less than 1 year 1 year of experience working as housing aide
• •Ability to adhere to safety procedures and protocols.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to maintain a safe and clean environment at all times.

Knowledge of methods of cleaning guest rooms and operation of laundry services.

• Preferred Qualifications
• •High School Diploma/GED

• Physical Demands
• Lift over 50 lbs. Push/pull up to 140 lbs. Carry 80 lbs. short distances. Frequent standing/walking, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing and reaching overhead.
