HOUSING MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT

Summary

Duties

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensuring proper customer service via telephone, email and in person and compliance with appropriate mandates of the Unaccompanied Housing Program rules and regulations; 2) Receiving and processing complaints and related investigations concerning residents; 3) Performing check-in and check-out room inspections and providing direct assistance to the Complex Manager and Site Director by monitoring assigned areas daily; 4) Scheduling and coordinating the maintenance and repair of housing units and conducting follow-up inspections to verify that discrepancies are corrected. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: You have successfully completed 1 full year of graduate level education. OR You have successfully completed a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement. OR You have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.It is highly recommended that a transcript is submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
