HR Data Analyst

This Is What Your Role Looks Like

As HR Data Analyst at Basic-Fit, you make sure HR data across countries becomes consistent, trustworthy, and ready for reporting and analysis. You'll get to the core of our data, uncover inconsistencies, and turn them into concrete improvement proposals. You will shape the foundation for HR analytics in our Workday environment. You’ll work closely with the HR Business Process Owner to understand how HR data is used and where it breaks down.

Your Responsibilities

• •Collaborate closely with the HR Business Process Owner to align data definitions with how HR actually works in each country
• •Identify inconsistencies: Analyze data for quality issues, gaps, and differences between countries — for example, why contract-type data is registered differently between the Netherlands and France
• •Get to the core: Investigate root causes of data inconsistency, not just the symptoms
• •Propose improvements: Translate findings into concrete, actionable improvement proposals
• •Uniform standards: Contribute to defining and embedding data standards across our organization
• •Build and support a set of standard HR reports

• •Build dashboards in Power BI to visualize HR data
• •Develop analyses that support HR and business decision-making.

Who Are You?

You're analytically sharp and genuinely curious about what's behind the numbers. You don't settle for a quick fix — you want to understand why data doesn't add up before proposing a solution. You're comfortable working with data from multiple countries, enjoy building structure where there is none yet, and communicate findings clearly to both HR and technical colleagues.

What you bring:

• •Experience in data analysis, ideally within HR or a comparable domain
• •Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• •Affinity with HR systems; experience with Workday is a plus
• •Experience with Power BI or willingness to grow into this
• •Experience in an international, multi-country environment is a plus
• •Fluent English; Dutch, French, Spanish, or German is a plus

Your Environment

• •You will be part of the HR team and work closely with stakeholders in our HR Improvement Team and with the Workday technical team.
• •Close collaboration with the HR Business Process Owner and HR stakeholders across countries
• •Underlying system: Workday, across NL, BE, FR, ES, DE and AT
• •No established HR data platform or BI stack yet — you help us shape the foundation
