Key Duties and Responsibilities

Consistently demonstrates expertise in special education strategies, particularly Literacy, Numeracy, Executive Functioning and Social-Behavioral support.

Collaborates within a teaching team to plan and develop strategies and accommodations for student differentiation in alignment with the student’s needs and Individualised Education Plan.

Communicates empathetically and effectively with parents, students and colleagues with regards to curriculum, student learning and progress during regular meetings and in written correspondence inclusive of reports and progress markers.

Provide services that include: assessment; individual instruction; small group instruction; co-teaching; support to classroom teachers in planning and developing adaptive programs, development and implementation of Individualised Education Plan (IEP).

Required Qualifications

Exemplary, native level English-speaking and writing skills

Bachelor Degree or higher in Special Education, or Bachelor Degree in any subjects with PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate of Education), or equivalent SEN qualification.

Minimum of 2 years learning support experience with demonstrated strong organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills
