About the Role

We’re looking for an HR Associate – Talent Acquisition who wants hands-on experience in building teams at a growing company.

Your primary responsibility will be hiring and building talent pipelines , especially for interns and entry-level roles across different functions at AMINU. You’ll work closely with the HR team and hiring managers to understand requirements, identify the right candidates, run the recruitment process and ensure a smooth candidate experience.

Alongside recruitment, you’ll also get exposure to HR operations, onboarding and employee processes .

What You'll Do

Talent Acquisition & Hiring

  • Own end-to-end hiring for interns and entry-level roles across different functions.
  • Understand hiring requirements and work closely with hiring managers to define the right candidate profile.
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, colleges, referrals, social media and other channels .
  • Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future requirements.
  • Screen CVs and conduct initial HR screening calls .
  • Evaluate candidates based on communication, experience, skills, motivation, cultural fit and role requirements.
  • Coordinate interviews, assignments and multiple stages of the selection process.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups with candidates and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
  • Coordinate offers, negotiations, joining formalities and pre-boarding.
  • Track hiring data and maintain recruitment dashboards/trackers.
  • Monitor the recruitment funnel and identify where candidates are dropping off.
  • Explore new sourcing channels and experiment with ways to improve the quality and speed of hiring.
  • Build relationships with colleges, student communities and external recruitment networks.

HR Operations

  • Support day-to-day HR operations and employee coordination.
  • Assist with onboarding and joining formalities.
  • Maintain employee records, HR documentation and trackers.
  • Coordinate with employees and managers on attendance, leave and other HR processes.
  • Support HRMS-related activities and ensure employee information is updated accurately.
  • Assist with internal HR communication and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with vendors on recruitment and compliance-related requirements.

HR Projects

  • Support the HR team on ongoing people and hiring projects.
  • Help improve and streamline existing recruitment and HR processes.
  • Work on projects related to employer branding, candidate experience, talent pipelines and hiring analytics .

What We're Looking For

  • 1–2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, recruitment or HR.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Someone who enjoys speaking to people and understanding what makes a candidate right for a role .
  • Comfortable making calls, following up and managing multiple candidates at once.
  • Strong ownership and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and resourceful — you should be comfortable figuring out where and how to find the right candidates.
  • Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and HR/recruitment tools.
  • Interest in Talent Acquisition and building a career in recruitment .
  • Fresh graduates with relevant internships or hands-on recruitment experience are welcome to apply.

What You'll Learn

This role will give you exposure to the complete recruitment lifecycle — from understanding a hiring requirement and sourcing candidates to interviewing, selecting, negotiating and onboarding them .

You’ll also learn how hiring decisions are made, how to build talent pipelines, how different sourcing channels perform, and how HR works with managers to build teams in a growing company.
