Due to the growth of our HVDC business, we are currently looking for our next HVDC Primary & Valve Installation Supervisor in the “Construction & Commissioning” function to participate in this energy transition.

Your Mission: Within our large scale HVDC Projects you are responsible for the Supervision of the Installation for our Valves including the Valve Cooling System & HVDC Primary Equipment. The installation will be done by subcontractors.

This position implies functional leadership as an IC (Individual Contributor) without direct reports. It is a Construction Site based role.

Main Tasks/Responsibilities:

1. EHS

Ensure all installation activities are performed in accordance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

2. Quality Oversight

• •Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability and performance of installed HVDC Valves & HVDC Primary Equipment.
• •Conduct inspections based on ITPs to verify adherence to quality standards.
• •Prepare and review installation documentation, test reports, and as-built drawings.
• •Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and stored

3. Planning & Coordination

• •Coordinate the HVDC Primary Equipment & Valve installation activities with the Site Management Team and other internal and external stakeholders (Installation Subcontractor) on site.
• •Providing guidance, training and support as needed to the installation subcontractor
• •Coordinate with our internal Valve manufacturing to assure needed documentation is used at site during execution
• •Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the installation process

Your Profile:

• •Technical education, preferably with a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in electrical- or mechanical installation works in large scale projects with at least 3 years experience in the relevant field.
• •Experience from Supervision or Site Management in substation, FACTS or HVDC Projects preferred.
• •Strong health and safety mindset aligned with international standards, with the ability to identify and stop unsafe work.
• •Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to provide clear verbal and written reporting (English required).

Proactive mindset with the ability to recommend and approve corrective actions.
