Wave Dental Specialists Atlanta is looking for an experienced, motivated, and dependable Hygiene Assistant to join our growing team in Buckhead, Georgia!

Our brand-new, state-of-the-art multispecialty practice offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced dental professionals in a modern, collaborative environment.

We are seeking someone who is confident in taking dental X-rays, enjoys working directly with patients, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting. This position will primarily focus on supporting our dental hygienist and helping ensure an efficient, positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• •Assist the dental hygienist with daily clinical procedures and patient care.
• •Confidently and accurately take dental X-rays, including bitewings and full-mouth series.
• •Prepare and turn over hygiene treatment rooms efficiently.
• •Assist with periodontal charting and clinical documentation.
• •Support the hygienist during patient examinations and treatment.
• •Utilize Open Dental for patient records, charting, and clinical documentation.
• •Assist with iTero digital scanning as needed.
• •Maintain proper sterilization, infection control, and OSHA standards.
• •Help maintain an organized, efficient hygiene schedule.
• •Collaborate with hygienists, dentists, specialists, and other clinical team members to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• •Minimum of one year of dental assisting experience required.
• •Must meet Georgia's applicable dental assisting and radiography requirements.
• •Strong proficiency and confidence in taking dental X-rays is required.
• •Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) credentials are a plus!
• •Experience with Open Dental and iTero is preferred.
• •Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical environment.
• •Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
• •Passion for patient care and willingness to grow professionally.

Schedule

Full-Time | 4–5 Days per Week
