Your New Role and Responsibilities

At Leidos Australia , our Matrix Engineering Team is a hub of technical excellence, supporting mission-critical programs across Defence, Intelligence, and Federal Government portfolios.

As a IAM Engineer, you will:

• •Assess current IBM Verify IAM implementations and define upgrade and transformation strategies
• •Design and deliver target-state architecture aligned to scalability, security, and cost optimisation best practices
• •Lead data migration, validation, and cutover activities, ensuring minimal disruption and downtime
• •Establish monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and governance frameworks using IBM tooling
• •Provide knowledge transfer and support to operational teams to enable ongoing service sustainability

What You’ll Bring to Make an Impact

• •Proven experience delivering enterprise IAM solutions using IBM Verify suite (IGA, Access, Directory)
• •Strong experience upgrading and supporting UNIX/Linux-based environments
• •Deep understanding of the IBM software ecosystem and integrations (e.g. Tivoli Monitoring)
• •Hands-on scripting and automation skills using Bash, Korn Shell, or Python
• •Demonstrated experience working across complex enterprise or government environments
