Job Description
- Role Summary:
- Manages Visa technical and business resources required to implement new and add-on Visa products and services. Establishes project scope and identifies opportunities to improve Visa processes and procedures. Gathers and documents project requirements and provides client consultative guidance on Visa regulations, fees, features, and functionality to structure an effective implementation. Tests and troubleshoots functionality of installed systems; identifies and documents technical issues to be escalated to product and system integration teams for resolution and/or product and process improvements. Prepares and maintains detailed project plans, status reports, and issues logs. Translates complex customer business requirements into internal technical language.
All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project management of implementations for Visa client institutions and processors in assigned region to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
- Manage routine and non-routine, moderately complex processing and change requests, as well as support client initiatives.
- Act as liaison for the client, provide problem management, proactive identification of processing efficiencies, service change support, and system enhancement support.
- Coordinate internal resources to accomplish Visa and client objectives and ensure processing system performance standards are met and that the client perspective is represented within the organization.
- Assess operational opportunities to increase service quality or efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and issues logs.
- Build and enhance positive working relationships with Visa client institutions, processors, and internal stakeholders.
- Represent client system and operational requirements to internal Visa organizations.
- Responsible for own workflow assignments and must be able to take the initiative to resolve problems and meet deadlines.
- Coordinate internal Visa resources to ensure delivery on commitments.
- Report client project accomplishments and deliverables to management monthly.
- Update and enhance internal support documents to assist internal and external stakeholders.
- Support biannual business enhancements and all Visa mandates.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
What you will need:
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor's degree, or an Advanced Degree (e.g., Master's, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).
- Knowledge of banking, financial services, payments, fintech, or technical support operations.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, status reporting, risks, and issue resolution.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate internal and external partners.
- A structured approach to troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting technical or operational issues.
- Consultative communication skills with the ability to gather requirements, identify solutions, and guide clients through implementation activities.
- Digital mindset with proficiency in leveraging emerging technologies, including Generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT, to support day-to-day work.
What will also help:
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor's degree, or more than 2 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Master's, MBA, JD, or MD).
- Demonstrated ability to identify operational efficiencies and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Understanding of client systems and operations, with the ability to effectively advocate for client requirements within a complex organization.
- Experience developing and maintaining documentation, procedures, and support resources.
- Exposure to business enhancements, product implementations, or enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Basic understanding of digital payments and web-based technologies, including APIs and system integrations.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a must-have to support our diverse client base and regional stakeholders.

Projects you will be a part of:
You will support implementations of new and add-on Visa products and services, client processing and change requests, system enhancements, and biannual business initiatives.
