• About the Role
• We're looking for a strategic, hands-on leader to lead the Marketing Response Center (MRC) team for Japan, based in Tokyo.

• The MRC accelerates customers' cloud adoption by connecting AWS solutions to business opportunities through personalized human engagement, augmented by AI-driven insights. We contribute to the sales pipeline by profiling, educating, and qualifying leads from marketing campaigns — converting them into sales-ready opportunities.
• You will lead a team of MRC representatives, empowering them to execute lead follow-ups and campaigns that improve customer experience and accelerate cloud adoption. You'll partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to build effective messaging, improve lead-to-opportunity conversion, and ensure leads are routed to sales for prompt follow-up.

• ● Team Leadership: Develop talent and build a high-performing team. Provide guidance and support to drive individual and team goals.
• ● AI & Innovation: Champion AI, automation, and data-driven approaches to enhance productivity and scale personalized outreach.
• ● Operational Excellence: Drive performance reporting and dive deep into data to improve processes and outcomes.
• ● Cross-functional Impact: Lead global projects that drive operational excellence and better customer experience

Basic qualifications

• - 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• - 3+ years of team management experience
• - Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
• - Experience communicating results to stakeholders
• - Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
• - Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese at a business level or above (N1+)
• - Speak, write, and read fluently in English

Preferred qualifications

- Experience working with or having knowledge of cloud computing and existing cloud technologies
