Industrial Engineer (Temporary)

About the Role

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing manufacturing methods, labor standards, capacities, and workflow processes across the plant. This role plays a key part in improving operational efficiency through time and motion studies, line balancing, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Industrial Engineer works closely with Production, Quality, and Logistics teams to drive productivity, reduce costs, and ensure efficient and reliable manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• •Conduct time and motion studies to optimize manufacturing processes.
• •Develop line balancing models, capacity plans, and direct labor requirements.
• •Define and maintain standard work procedures for production operations.
• •Evaluate and optimize plant layouts and material flow processes.
• •Lead productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• •Support production line optimization efforts.
• •Apply Lean Manufacturing tools and data analytics to drive continuous improvement.
• •Develop and maintain labor and capacity models to support workforce planning.
• •Configure and maintain labor-related parameters within ERP/MES systems.
• •Analyze operational data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and productivity.
• •Prepare reports and performance metrics to support decision-making.
• •Collaborate with Production, Logistics, and Quality teams to improve operational performance and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• •Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• •Minimum 3 years of Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• •Experience with time studies, motion analysis, and line balancing.
• •Knowledge of standard work development, capacity planning, and labor modeling.
• •Experience designing plant layouts and optimizing material flow.
• •Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• •Proficiency with data analysis and simulation tools such as Power BI, Minitab, FlexSim, or similar.
• •Experience working with ERP/MES systems.
• •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• •Experience in high-volume or fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• •Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
