Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Correctly read and interpret shop orders for correct paint color and options
- Utilize airless and/or conventional spray equipment for application of paints, lacquers, or enamels to metal surface where medium quality finish is required; ensure work assignments pass process checks and final inspection
- Maintain and keep equipment and area in a safe, clean condition and working order
- Utilize automated or manual monorail for moving product in and out of paint booth
- Clean and maintain, on a daily basis, equipment used in the paint booth
- Utilize hoist, cranes, and lift tables
- Prepare surfaces for painting as required by cleaning or other methods as required
- Comply with all company environmental policy
- May do masking and two-toning and operate drying equipment
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
- Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- No minimum education required
- No prior experience required
- Must adhere to all safety rules and requirements, including proper use and fit of respirators and other personal protective equipment. This may include maintaining a clean-shaven face at all times due to OSHA regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit up
- Ability to use hand to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk or hear

The pay range for this position is $17.93 - $25.76/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
