Duties & Responsibilities:

• •MUST POSSESS AN ACTIVE DoD CLEARANCE (SECRET or above)
• •Responsible for the planning, design and build of security architectures; oversees the implementation of network and computer security and ensures compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies and procedures. Monitors cybersecurity requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related network devices. Performs security assessments of applications and systems using penetration and vulnerability testing and risk analysis. Configures and installs firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Implements software fixes (patches) to remove system vulnerabilities. Responds immediately to cybersecurity-related incidents and provides a thorough post-event analysis. Investigates intrusion incidents and conducts forensic investigations.
• •Direct security reporting line to the Government Security Council on security posture, risk status, and program effectiveness; delivers executive-quality briefings to the OCLI President for escalation to the Government Security Council.
• •Leads, the cybersecurity operations across multiple classified systems, technical direction, work breakdown, cost estimates, and resource allocation.
• •Serve as COMSEC Account Manager (managing communications security materials, accounts, and procedures per government sponsor requirements.
• •Owns the full Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle and Authority to Operate (ATO) process for accredited systems.
• •Provides strategic direction for classified cybersecurity environments, collaborating with government agencies and internal stakeholders to prioritize and deliver security solutions aligned with mission requirements.
• •Architect and engineer cybersecurity solutions compliant with NISPOM, DISA STIGs, CNSSI 1253, and NIST 800-53 / 800-171.
• •Author and maintain Body of Evidence (BOE) artifacts: System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and supporting RMF documentation for ATO packages.
• •Prepare authorization packages, enter evidence into eMASS, and execute annual government security audits and assessments.
• •Exercise expert judgment to assess and mitigate system security threats and risks, analyze security events, and conduct investigations.
• •Administers enterprise access control and CCTV systems.

Requirements

• •2+ years professional experience in administrative, regulatory, or compliance roles
• •Experience conducting trainings and briefings
• •Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• •Strong organization skills
• •Proficient in MS Office Suite
• •Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• •Able to work in environments where cell phones are prohibited (20% of the time)
• •Eligibility to obtain U.S. DoD Security Clearance [current, active U.S. DoD Security Clearance preferred]

Job Posting Pay Range:

80,500 to

149,500 Exceptional qualifications, experience and location may impact salary. VIAVI offers a competitive benefits package that includes paid time off , health, life and disability insurance, 401(k), and a bonus program.
