Infrastructure Manager

At Essity's Skelmersdale Converting Mill , we manufacture products for Tork® , a global leader in professional hygiene solutions used in workplaces, healthcare environments, hospitality venues and public facilities worldwide.

As our Site Infrastructure Manager , you'll play a critical role in ensuring the buildings, utilities, electrical systems and facilities that support our operation remain safe, compliant and fit for the future.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager , you'll lead the strategy, maintenance and development of site infrastructure, ensuring our assets support operational performance, business continuity and sustainable growth.

This is a highly visible leadership role that combines technical expertise, people leadership and project delivery. Working closely with Engineering, Operations and external partners, you'll ensure our infrastructure remains reliable, efficient and aligned to Essity's long-term ambitions.

What You Will Do

• •Develop and deliver long-term infrastructure and asset management plans.
• •Lead, coach and develop the Site Infrastructure team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
• •Manage CAPEX projects from concept through to implementation, ensuring effective governance, budget control and successful delivery.
• •Oversee site utilities, including electricity, gas, water and compressed air, ensuring reliability, efficiency and compliance.
• •Maintain responsibility for high and low voltage electrical systems and associated statutory requirements.
• •Ensure buildings, facilities and infrastructure meet legal, safety, environmental and operational standards.
• •Drive compliance with Essity's Risk, Environment, Safety and Health (RESH) framework.
• •Develop and maintain infrastructure-related business continuity plans.
• •Manage infrastructure budgets and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• •Collaborate with internal stakeholders and contractors to support site priorities and operational excellence.

Who You Are

You are a proactive and influential leader who enjoys solving complex challenges and driving positive change within a manufacturing environment. You combine technical expertise with commercial awareness and can balance strategic planning with operational delivery.

We're looking for someone with:

• •A degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
• •Experience managing infrastructure, utilities, facilities or engineering services within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• •Strong project management and budget management capability.
• •Knowledge of electrical infrastructure, compliance and asset management principles.
• •Experience leading and developing teams.
• •Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• •A continuous improvement mindset and a structured approach to problem solving.
