Opportunity Overview:
The Inpatient Program Strategy & Execution Manager plays a critical role in shaping and delivering Cohere's inpatient platform strategy across our health plan clients. As the business owner for the solution, you'll drive end-to-end strategy, execution, and value realization while partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Clinical Operations, Analytics, and Client Experience.
You'll operate at the intersection of strategy and execution—working with client leadership to define priorities while partnering internally to bring innovative solutions to life. This is a highly visible, high-impact role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, influencing product direction, and delivering measurable outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do:
Own end-to-end delivery of Cohere's inpatient program across multiple health plan clients, from contract signature through implementation, optimization, and ongoing operations.
Serve as the single-threaded owner responsible for coordinating execution across Product, Engineering, Clinical Operations, Analytics, and Client Experience.
Partner with Product and Engineering to translate client and business needs into product requirements and influence roadmap prioritization.
Collaborate with Clinical Operations and Analytics to define clinical and AI program strategy, gather requirements, configure solutions, and continuously monitor and optimize performance.
Partner with Client Experience to identify opportunities to increase client value realization, track key performance metrics, and communicate program outcomes.
Establish and lead the operating cadence for the inpatient platform, driving accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution to ensure successful delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Identify risks, manage priorities, and drive alignment across stakeholders to ensure successful client outcomes.
What you'll need:
5+ years of experience in program management, product management or operations, implementation leadership, consulting, or delivery management within healthcare, software, or technology-enabled services.
Experience working with health plans, health systems, or other healthcare organizations.
Demonstrated success owning the performance and delivery of complex solutions or programs from strategy through execution.
Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives involving business, clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
Strong client-facing experience, including executive communication, stakeholder management, and managing priorities, timelines, and tradeoffs.
Strong technical and operational aptitude, including an understanding of operational workflows, system integrations, data flows, and configuration-driven platforms.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to make data-informed decisions.
A bias toward action with the ability to build scalable processes and deliver measurable business impact.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
Pay & Perks:
💻 Fully remote opportunity with occasional travel up to 15%
🩺 Medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and Employee Assistance Program
📈 401K retirement plan with company match; flexible spending and health savings account
🏝️ Flex Time Off + company holidays
