Inside Sales Trainee & Coordinator

The Inside Sales Trainee & Coordinator splits their time between learning active selling skills and managing the administrative backbone of the sales department. This dual role serves as a fast-track training ground for future full-cycle sales professionals.

Position Summary

The Sales Trainee & Coordinator supports daily sales operations while actively training to become a full-time sales representative. You will handle order processing, client service, and administrative tasks, while shadowing senior reps, participating in sales training, and gradually taking on your own accounts.

Main Duties

• •Sales Training: Shadow senior account managers, practice pitch techniques, and study product lines to master the sales process.
• •Administrative Support: Process incoming orders, update client records, and generate sales performance reports for management.
• •Customer Care: Answer initial inbound inquiries, resolve basic account issues, and provide product details to potential buyers.
• •Lead Qualification: Research industry trends, identify potential new clients, and conduct cold outreach to schedule meetings for the team.
• •Cross-Functional Work: Coordinate with shipping, billing, and marketing departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment.

Requirements

• •Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• •Strong interest in building a long-term career in professional sales.
• •Previous experience in retail, customer service, or office administration is an asset.

Compensation Information - $50,000 to $60,000 annually, based on experience
