Installation Support Technician (IST)

Job Summary:

As an Installation Support Tech, you will provide technical support at any of our brick and mortar, mobile, or on-site locations at an OEM prestige motor manufacturer in Solihull.

Core Duties

• •Move vehicles around installation facility
• •Organize and keep tidy install bays
• •Keep installation bays stocked with supplies and parts
• •Prepare parts for application
• •Assist installers with finalizing installation
• •Clean/wipe down vehicles to prepare them for application and delivery
• •Assist the team with day-to-day tasks
• •Perform final quality inspections on outgoing vehicles

Basic Qualifications

• •Must have a current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• •Must have a reliable mode of transportation and the ability to be on time
• •Ability to comfortably and safely drive high-end vehicles
• •Must work well with others and have good team building skills
• •Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• •Adherence to deadlines
• •Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity
• •Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
• •Must be able to kneel and bend for quality checking
• •Overtime / working in shifts may be required

Full-time, Permanent

• Shift Requirement:
• This position requires working in a rotating shift schedule.

• •Morning Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• •Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Shifts will rotate every two weeks. Flexibility to work both shifts is essential.

Salary: £31.200,00 / annual
