Institutional Investment Operations Associate

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Institutional Investment Operations Associate (Analyst) to join our team within the Chief Operating Office (COO). In this role, you will help deliver operational excellence by supporting critical investment operations processes that enable accurate, timely, and compliant service for our institutional clients. You will partner with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities for process improvement, strengthen risk and control practices, and enhance the overall client and operational experience.

In this role, you will:

• •Review and analyze low to moderately complex operational activities across the institutional trade lifecycle, including client account onboarding, cash payments, funding operations, custodial operations, securities settlement, asset servicing, structured loan operations, general ledger reconciliation, and confirmation and ISDA-related matters
• •Research operational issues, gather and evaluate relevant data, identify potential causes, and recommend solutions within established policies, procedures, and control requirements
• •Exercise independent judgment when completing assigned deliverables, selecting from established alternatives, and escalating issues that require additional expertise or management attention
• •Support the timely and accurate completion of operational deliverables while contributing to effective risk management, controls, and client service
• •Identify and recommend opportunities to improve processes, operational efficiency, data quality, and controls within the assigned area
• •Collaborate and consult with peers, managers, and cross-functional partners to resolve issues, support operational initiatives, and achieve business and service objectives

Required Qualifications:

6+ months of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• •Demonstrated flexibility to support global business needs through rotational, evening, night, or weekend shifts as required.
• •Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams.
