Institutional Operations Manager

Nubra is a brand owned by Zanskar Securities Private Limited — a SEBI-registered stock broker and depository participant, operating as a Trading cum Self Clearing Member. Nubra Insti is the institutional execution division, purpose-built for PMS, AIFs, AMCs, hedge funds, and family offices seeking superior execution quality through in-house algorithms, co-located infrastructure at NSE and BSE, and a dedicated institutional dealing desk. We are looking for a seasoned operations manager to manage and strengthen the institutional operations function — ensuring every client's post-trade workflow is handled with precision, every compliance obligation met on time, and every process built to scale.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• •Operational Ownership: Work on complete institutional operations lifecycle — trade confirmation, settlement, allocation, margin management, and post-trade reconciliation across NSE and BSE for equities and derivatives.
• •SEBI & Exchange Compliance: Serve as the primary owner of all regulatory obligations — SEBI circulars, exchange inspections, audit trail integrity, STR/CTR filings, institutional KYC/KRA maintenance, FATCA/CRS compliance, and peak margin adherence. Proactively track regulatory changes and lead timely implementation.
• •Custody & Clearing: Oversee block-level trade allocations across multiple sub-accounts for PMS/AIF/AMC clients. Coordinate with custodians, clearing members, and CDSL/NSDL for securities movements, corporate actions, and auction settlement handling.
• •Process Excellence: Continuously review and strengthen operational workflows — reconciliation, exception management, reporting, and documentation — with an eye on automation, scalability, and error elimination.
• •Client Operations Interface: Act as the operations point of contact for institutional clients. Manage escalations, complex settlement queries, and lead periodic operational reviews with fund managers and their back-office teams.
• •Audit & Inspection Readiness: Ensure all records, registers, and documentation are audit-ready at all times. Manage all internal and external audits, SEBI inspections, and exchange-level reviews end to end.
• •Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with the dealing desk, algo and technology, compliance, and accounts teams to ensure a clean day-end close, billing accuracy, and full regulatory reporting integrity.

WHAT YOU BRING

• •Proven experience and command of institutional trade lifecycle across cash equities and F&O from execution through settlement.
• •Deep working knowledge of SEBI regulations, exchange compliance frameworks, institutional KYC norms, and inspection protocols.
• •Hands-on with CDSL/NSDL systems, custodian coordination, and clearing workflows for PMS/AIF/AMC sub-accounts.
• •Demonstrated ability to lead and elevate operations teams ideally at a brokerage, custodian, or clearing member.
• •NISM Series VII mandatory; NCFM/BCFM or additional capital markets certifications preferred.
• •Willingness to work full-time, on-site at our Mumbai office during market hours and as required.
